Michelle is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#3129) and certified in Trauma Counselling. She has worked as a Clinical Counsellor since 2012.
Michelle became a Certified FEEL facilitator (Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning) in 2014 and works in partnership with these powerful and sentient animals.
She has worked in the human services field for 30 plus years in a variety of settings. These include Youth-Work, Education, Probation and Child and Family Services.
Michelle attributes her success with clients by combining a unique approach comprising of Personal Development Coaching, Psychotherapy and Equine Facilitated Learning, looking through the lens of attachment, emotion coaching, neuroscience and the developmental paradigm.
Michelle’s clients engage in services with her and her equine partner(s) to address
areas such as:

● PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)
● Personal Development
● Couple’s work
For Michelle, being able to combine her passion for horses with her other passion of supporting people in making sense of themselves from the inside out, in her opinion, makes her a very happy and content person – She says “It’s not work if you love what you do”.
